Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Pássaro. They are written to be read, so the sections that cost money or affect your rights are near the top rather than at the end.

Payment is a separate relationship: Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record for every paid plan. It sells the subscription, issues the invoice and is responsible for the sales tax that applies where you live. Your card details are handled by Paddle and never reach us.
2.What the service does
Pássaro reads a vacancy and a profile you have entered, judges how closely they match, and writes a résumé tailored to that vacancy. You keep a Base Profile describing your experience, one or more Role Profiles angling it at a kind of job, and the vacancies you are pursuing.
It is a writing and analysis tool that you operate on your own data. It does not apply for jobs on your behalf, does not contact employers, and does not submit anything anywhere.
3.Your account
You need an account to keep a profile. Accounts are for one person: the profile is a description of you, and the guarantees in section 8 depend on that being true. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the information you put in your profile must be about you and accurate.
4.Plans and allowances
There are three plans. Every plan does the same three things — read a vacancy, judge the fit, write the résumé. What changes is how many times a month, and how deep the analysis goes.
- Free — no card, no expiry. One saved match analysis and one tailored résumé, so you can see whether the product does anything for you before paying.
- Pro — €14.99 a month or €34.99 every three months. For an active search: several applications a week.
- Premium — €29.99 a month or €69.99 every three months. For a search that is the job: the highest allowances.
Allowances are counted per calendar month and reset at the start of the next one. Unused allowance does not carry over. The current numbers for your plan are shown beside the buttons that spend them, and on the pricing page.
Allowances exist because each analysis and each generated résumé costs us a model call. If you need more than Premium allows, write to us rather than opening a second account.
5.Prices, billing and renewal
- Prices are shown before you pay, in your own currency, with the exact amount that will be charged. Whether tax is inside that figure or added to it depends on your country; either way the total at checkout is the total.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel. There is no minimum term beyond the period you are in.
- If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it. Your plan may be suspended until it succeeds, and drops to Free if it ultimately does not.
- We may change prices, but not for a period you have already paid for. A change is announced by e-mail at least 30 days before it applies to you, and cancelling before it takes effect is always an option.
6.Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your own account, without writing to anyone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan you have paid for keeps working until the end of the period, and then the account drops to Free.
Nothing is deleted when you stop paying. Your profile, vacancies and generated résumés stay where they are, and you keep read access to them on the Free plan. If you want the data gone as well, that is section 13.
7.The 14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer buying a digital service at a distance, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason.
A subscription starts working the moment it is paid for, which is normally what a buyer wants and is also the point at which the withdrawal right can be affected. So at checkout you are asked to confirm two things: that you want the service to begin immediately, and that you understand you will owe a proportionate amount for what you have used if you then withdraw. If you would rather keep the full 14 days untouched, do not confirm — write to us and we will start the plan at the end of the period instead.
To withdraw, write to the contact address in section 1 within 14 days of purchase. No form is needed and no reason has to be given. We refund through Paddle, to the payment method you used, within 14 days of being told.
8.Refunds beyond withdrawal
Outside the withdrawal period we are not obliged to refund a period you have used, but we would rather have an honest customer than a technically correct invoice. If the service was unavailable, if something we broke lost your work, or if you were charged for a plan you had cancelled, write to us and we will refund it.
If the service does not do what these terms say it does, your rights under consumer law — to have it fixed, to a price reduction, or to end the contract and be refunded — apply regardless of anything in this section.
9.What the AI does, and what it does not promise
Pássaro uses large language models to analyse vacancies and to write résumés. This section is the most important one in the document, because it is where a tool like this is usually oversold.
- Generated text can be wrong. Read every résumé before you send it. You are the author of what you submit, and you are responsible for its accuracy.
- A match score is our estimate, not a measurement. It has no standing with any employer and does not predict anything.
- We do not promise that a résumé will pass an applicant tracking system, that you will be invited to interview, that you will be offered a job, or that any particular score or ranking will result. Nobody can promise those, and a product that implies otherwise is selling you a feeling.
- The model works from what you wrote. It is instructed to rewrite and select, never to invent experience, skills, certifications or education you have not stated. For generated statements the product tracks, it records the profile entry selected as support so you can inspect it.
- You must not use the service to create statements about your qualifications that you know to be untrue. A recorded profile link is not verification that a statement follows from the record or that the record itself is true. Using it to lend credibility to a false claim is a misuse of the product and grounds for closing the account.
10.Who owns what
Your profile, your uploaded documents and the vacancies you save remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service on them: to store them, to send the relevant parts to the model that produces your analysis or résumé, and to show them back to you.
The résumés and analyses produced for you are yours to use however you like, including commercially, with no attribution to us. We claim no ownership over them and no licence to reuse them.
We do not use your résumé, profile or job descriptions to train models. Our model provider is contractually bound not to train on data sent through its API.
The software, the interface, the name Pássaro and the prompts behind it remain ours.
11.Acceptable use
- One account per person, and a profile that describes you.
- Do not upload other people's documents or personal data without a lawful basis for doing so.
- Do not attempt to extract the prompts or system instructions, to circumvent allowances, or to automate access outside the interface.
- Do not use the service to produce knowingly false statements of qualification, or anything unlawful.
12.Suspension and closing an account
We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 11, that is being used to abuse the service, or where we are legally required to. Except where the breach makes it impossible, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to answer, and you will be refunded for any period you have paid for and cannot use.
You can close your own account at any time, which is section 13.
13.Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your account and its contents at any time by writing to the contact address in section 1. We do that within 30 days, and confirm when it is done. What we keep afterwards, and for how long, is set out in the privacy policy.
A self-service delete button is not built yet. It is on the list, and until it exists the request above is the route — handled by a person, not ignored.
14.Complaints
Write to the contact address in section 1, describing what happened and what you would like done. We acknowledge within 3 working days and answer within 14 days. If the answer does not satisfy you, you keep every right you have under the consumer law of your country, including recourse to the relevant consumer protection authority and to out-of-court dispute resolution.
Complaints about a charge, an invoice or a refund can also go directly to Paddle.
15.Availability, changes and closing the service
Pássaro is in beta. It may be unavailable, features may change, and we do not offer a service level guarantee. We will not remove something you are paying for without telling you, and if a change materially reduces what your plan includes you may cancel and be refunded for the remainder of the period.
If we ever stop operating the service, we will give at least 30 days notice by e-mail, stop taking payments, refund any unused paid period, and keep export working for the whole notice period so you can take your data with you.
16.Liability
We are liable for damage we cause by breaking this agreement, up to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the event. We are not liable for a job you did not get, an application that was rejected, or a decision an employer made — those depend on people and processes outside the service, and section 9 says plainly that we do not promise outcomes.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury, for intentional harm, or under mandatory consumer protection rules.
17.Governing law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the law of the operator's seat, named in section 1, without displacing the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in. As a consumer you may always bring a claim in your own country's courts.
If we change these terms, we will announce it by e-mail at least 30 days beforehand. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance; if you would rather not, cancel before the change takes effect and you will be refunded for the remainder of the period.
