Cookies and local storage
Every item Pássaro puts in your browser is listed below. The list is short because there is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party script anywhere in the product.
2.What is stored
| Item | Kind | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clerk session cookies | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in and protects the session against forgery. Set by our authentication provider. | Until you sign out, or the session expires |
jobtailor_public_match_restore | Strictly necessary | Local storage. Holds the match score you ran before registering, so that creating an account keeps the result instead of losing it. | Until the result is claimed or you clear it |
jobtailor_public_match_state | Strictly necessary | Local storage. The résumé and vacancy text of an anonymous match, kept in your browser so a reload does not lose your typing. It is not sent to us for storage. | Until you clear it |
| Session identifier | Strictly necessary | A random value sent with public requests so that free capacity can be rate-limited fairly. We store only a one-way hash of it. | For the duration of the visit |
The two local-storage keys still carry the product's former name. Renaming them would discard any match score currently waiting in someone's browser, which is a worse outcome than an inconsistent key nobody reads.
3.Clearing them
Signing out removes the session cookies. The local-storage items can be cleared from your browser's site data settings at any time; the only effect is that an unclaimed anonymous match score is lost, since your browser was the only place it was kept.
Blocking the session cookies makes signing in impossible — there is no way to keep you authenticated without them.

What we hold on our own servers, rather than in your browser, is in the privacy policy.
